A Podcast Guide to Anything & Everything

A Podcast Guide to Anything & Everything

Today, there are over 464 million podcast listeners around the world and this number is only increasing. As there are over 5 million podcasts with around 70 million episodes, it can be hard to choose what to listen to and which episode you can get the most out of. As I am in a big podcast phase right now, I have been trying out lots of new ones and these are some of my favorites!

Whether you have had a long day and need to laugh, need some inspiration, are caught up with your ex, want health and wellness inspo, you name it, or need some career direction, I guarantee there is a podcast in here for you!

Comedy "Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast:" This is one of my go-to listens when I am walking to class, am working and want something funny to listen to in the background, or just really want to laugh. Brooke and Connor break down pop culture's biggest moments, share their hottest takes, and are such a funny duo.

Favorite episode: "Quiet Quitting Our New Year's Resolutions"

Health and Wellness/ Entrepreneurship "Green-ish" focuses on what money and kale have in common. Green-ish seeks genuine conversations with visionaries to explore the mission that propelled them, the habits that guided them, with reflection on the roots that got them where they are. Green-ish motivates you to live and be inspired in the now through hearing the experiences and advice of how many female entrepreneurs in the health and wellness world did it.

Favorite episode: "How to Take Back Your Power & Why You Should Eat Cookie Butter for Breakfast" with Lisa Odenweller, founder of Kroma Wellness

In Your 20's "Anything Goes" with Emma Chamberlain: This podcast can switch from philosophy to advice to just completely random which is one thing I love about it. I seem to always leave her podcasts with nuggets of information or quotes that I hold onto and think back on regularly. With Emma's podcast, I have found it most effective if you don't just click on one of her recent ones but really search for a topic that you might be struggling with or are very interested in. She really makes me think and challenges me and I am genuinely impressed with her knowledge and maturity for a 21 year old.

Favorite episodes: "dealing with difficult people", "post or it didn't happen"

Wise Words for your 20's "The Psychology of Your 20's": Jemma Sbeg, from Sydney, Australia, speaks on how everything is psychology and relates it to every feeling and stage of life you could go through in your 20s. She is wonderful and so insightful.

Favorite episode: "Can ex's be friends ft. My Ex-Boyfriend, "The myth of the "dream job"

Entrepreneurship "How I Built This with Guy Raz" If you have dreams of starting a business or want to know how some of your favorite brands started, check this out! This was the first podcast I listened to and it never fails to motivate me and leave me not wanting to turn it off.

Favorite episodes: Outdoor Voices: Tyler Haney, Lululemon Athletica: Chip Wilson, and Patagonia: Yvon Chouinard
